Please go away
This love that cannot be;
There are many reasons there
Can never be a you and me.

I can't believe the pain I feel
In every cell of my body;
My mind is in turmoil too
If this is love it's shoddy.

How could Cupid be so wrong
This has turned my life into hell;
I didn't pray for this but
I feel so alive as well.

My morals are on the high ground
I wish they were inbetween;
To take a bite from the apple
If you know what I mean.

Once their was a secret love
Beyond the bounds of convention;
That burst it's banks and overflowed
This caused untold contention.
Considered an abomination by their peers
They suffered untold misery;
Their love survived even this
Times were very hard for adultery.
The age gap was considered
Even worse was the class distinction;
All wanted this to end
And just except extinction.
The pain and anguish took their lives
The pain was just to great;
Peer pressure even now
Withdraw it before it's too late.

How can love be in the wrong
Maybe wrong time, wrong place;
Just checking whether it might be lust
This can make you fall from grace.

Will the cost be worth it
Or is the price to high;
Or do we take the risk
Is it do or die.

It's just so full of joy;
But the chemistry is all it is
Because you are just a boy.

The difference between our age
Is something we can't cross;
I would be wrong as the elder
Your youth would be to much loss.

So go away and forget
These feelings we've discussed;
They must never surface ever
This is an absolute must!!
